Paphiopedilum helenae Aver. sp.nov.

N. Vietnam, Prov. Cao Bang, Distr. Tra Linh, Subdistr. Quoc Toan, open dry evergreen Keteleeria davidiana forest on tops of remnant limestone mountains at 850-900 m alt. near Thang Heng lake in environs of Thang Hen and Lung Tao villages. Epilite on vertical cliffs of N exposition near peaks. Rare.
