S.Vietnam, Ninh Thuan Prov., Ninh Hai Distr., Vinh Hai Municipality, E slopes on Nui Chua mountains to SW of point 11o43'52''N 109o08'35''E at elev. about 800-950 m a.s.l. Primary evergreen closed dry forest on rocky mountain slopes composed with granite. Terrestrial herb 20-40 cm tall. Flowers yellow, fruits - white juicy berry. Occasional. HLF 4415 31 March 2004.
