Vietnam, Quang Tri Prov., Huong Hoa Distr., Huong Phung Municipality, Sa Mui pass, around point 16°47′42″N 106°35′50″E at elevation about 1000 m a.s.l. Secondary broad-leaved evergreen submontane forest on shale mountains. Epiphyte on tall tree. Flowers brownish-green, lip dull yellow with irregular reddish-brown marks. Not common.
