Bac Kan prov., Cho Don Distr., Ban Thi municipality, Phia Khao Village, around Lung Trang site, Pinus kwangtungensis peak, ca. 22°17′29″N, 105°30′50″E, 918 m, limestone mts. In logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forests. Perennial herb, in rich in humus holes on limestone rocks.
