N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Thach An, municipality Van Trinh, (N 22ш21' E 106ш27'), about 39 km to SSE from Cao Bang town. Secondary open semideciduous broadleaved forest on steep slopes near tops of remnant limestone ridge at 600 m alt. Epilite herb on steep slopes. Flowers olive-green. Not rare. No CBL 849.4 03 Dec. 1998
