Primary and secondary broad-leaved evergreen dry forest on very steep rocky slopes of highly eroded mountains composed by solid marble-like limestone at elev. 800-950 m a.s.l.
Epiphyte on small trees in shady steep slope. Flowers light yellowish, tepals with brown-purple marks hypochile yellowish with dull brown marks, epichile white with yellowish central spot, and few brownish spots at apex. Locally common.
