Vietnam, Lai Chau Prov., Muong Te Distr. at elev. about 800-1000 m a.s.l. about 15 km to E of Muong Te town.
Broad-leaved evergreen submontane forest on slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline limestone.
Epiphyte. Flowers odorless. Sepals white, petals white with pink-violet tint; lip pink, purple-violet at the center; column pink-violet; operculum white, with yellowish tint; ovary white or light yellowish-green; later all flower white. Leaves thick, succulent. Rare.
