S.Vietnam, Ninh Thuan Prov., Ninh Hai Distr., Vinh Hai Municipality, SE slopes on Nui Chua mountains to SW of point 11o43′52′'N 109o08′35′'E at elev. about 800-950 m a.s.l. Primary evergreen dry forest on steep rocky mountain slopes composed with granite. Achlorophyllous leafless olive-yellowish to dull pink saprophytic vine with dry fruits 6-10 m long. Flowers: tepals light yellowish-brown, lip light yellow-brown, side lobes with fine gray stripes, column and anther light yellow. Rare. HLF 4603 4 April 2004. (Leaves silica.fixed). (Photo). Coll.
