Phalaenopsis mannii Reichenb.f.

N. Vietnam, Prov. Cao Bang, distr. Tra Linh, municipalite Quoc Toan, vicinity of Thang Heng and Lung Tao villages near Thang Heng lake. Remnant closed evergreen primary broadleaved forest on steep slopes and bluffs of limestone ridges and mesas near karst lake at 500-650 m alt. Epiphytic and epilitic herb on shadow rocky slopes and bluffs. Tepals yellow with brown marks, lip yellow. Not common.
