Remnant open evergreen primary broadleaved forest along river in alluvial valley. bottom between limestone ridges and mesas at 200-250 m alt. Terrestrial and epilitic herb with leaves up to 0.5 m lg in shadow wet. places. Very common and occasionally abundant. Usual monodominante of forb forest stratum in valley forests at 200 m alt., especially in. depressions filling with water during rain season. No VH 4835 19.05.1997.
