Xay village (around point 21°58'09"N, 104°00'55"E). Primary. broad-leaved evergreen montane forest with bamboo along tops of. granite/quartzite ridge at elev. 1800 m a.s.l. Creeping terrestrial. herb on open wet slope. Flowers greenish to dull orange. Not common. No HAL 2135   07 March 2002. . Collectors: L.Averyanov, P.K.Loc, D.T.Doan (FFI Project).
