N. Vietnam, prov. Ha Giang, distr. Yen Minh, municipality Du Gia, vicinities of Coc Pan village (N 23ø56' E 105ø13'). Secondary wet
closed evergreen broadleaved forest on limestone ridge foothills along river at 450 m elev. Shrublet 1-1.5 m hg on open rocks along stream.
Very common. Codominanthe of stream shrub communities.
