N. Vietnam, prov. Ha Giang, distr. Yen Minh, municipality Du Gia, vicinities of Coc Pan village (N 23ø56' E 105ø13'). Secondary wet

closed evergreen broadleaved forest on limestone ridge foothills along river at 450 m elev. Shrub 2-2.5 m hg in open place. Fruits reddish.

Not rare.
