Taxus chinensis

Vietnam, Ha Giang Prov., Bac Me Distr., Phieng Luong Municipality, around Phieng Luong village about 4 km to SW of Phieng Luong Municipality headquarter 22º39’29’’N, 105º19’35’’E. Slightly logged primary closed evergreen broad-leaved forest on slopes of remnant mountains composed with solid highly eroded crystalline and partially shale limestone at elev. 1000-1200 m a.s.l. Treelet about 4 m tall on very steep rocky slope near top of ridge. Rare.
