Dien Bien Prov., Tua Chua Distr., Xa Nhe Municipality, around point 21°52’35”N 103°24’21”E. Highly degraded primary evergreen broadleaved dry forest on very steep slopes and on tops of remnant mountains composed with solid limestone at elevation 850-1050 m a.s.l. Palm to 2.5 m tall on rather open rocky very steep slpe. Flowers yellow. Very common.
