Lai Chau Province, Muong Te District, Mu Ca Commune. Highly degraded secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest with bamboo along rocky river on stratified shale and limestone at elevation of about 500 m a.s.l. around point 22º24’42’’N 102º24’35’’E. Terrestrial herb to 6 cm tall on shady mossy steep roadcut. Petals, filaments and style purple, anthers pale yellow. Not common.
