Lai Chau Province, Muong Te District, Mu Ca Commune. Highly degraded secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest along rocky stream on stratified shale and granite on steep mountain slope at elevation of about 500 m a.s.l. around point 22º24’42’’N 102º24’35’’E. Terrestrial herb or undershrub to 2 m tall in open place along train. Flowers white, anthers yellow. Very common.
