FLORA OF VIETNAM

Impatiens sp.

Khanh Hoa Province, Khanh Vinh District, Khanh Le Pass. Primary evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep rocky mountain slopes on granite and gneiss at elevation of 1000-1200 m a.s.l., around point 12º13’N 108º44’E. Erect terrestrial and lithophytic herb to 30 cm tall on wet mossy rocks and cliffs of small waterfall. Flowers bright purple. Not common.
