Convallariaceae

Aspidistra pachyloba Aver. & V.C.Nguyen, sp. nov.

Khanh Hoa Province, Khanh Vinh District, Khanh Le Pass. Primary evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep rocky mountain slopes on granite and gneiss at elevation of about 1000 m a.s.l., around point 12º13’N 108º44’E. Terrestrial herb on very steep slopes along cliffs of rocky river. Flowers dark brown-purple, anthers yellow. Not common.
