Binh Dinh Province, Van Canh District. Secondary evergreen broad-leaved dry forest with bamboo along rocky river on granite at elevation of about 100 m a.s.l., around point 13º44’N 108º57’E. Rosulate herb in shady place along rocky river. Flowers with strong, very unpleasant smell, olive-greenish, medial tepal black, “column white”. Not common.
