Binh Dinh Province, Van Canh District. Secondary evergreen broad-leaved dry forest with bamboo along rocky river on granite at elevation of about 100 m a.s.l., around point 13º44’N 108º57’E. Undershrub to 1 m tall in shady rocky place along river. Flowers yellow, nice fragrant. Locally common.
