Gia Lai Province, K'Bang District. Highly degraded open secondary evergreen broad-leaved dry forest along road at elevation 600-800 m a.s.l., around point 14º26N 108º22E. Erect herb with clustering stems to 3.5 m tall in open wet place. Median tepal dark red with yellow stripes at apex. Not rare.
