Gia Lai Province, K'Bang District. Secondary and remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved dry forest with Dacrydium on lava rocks (red soils) at elevation about 1000 m a.s.l., around point 14º15N 108º35E. Terrestrial herb to 4 m tall in open place along road. Flowers white, “column” dark red, median tepal with 2 large dark red spots. Not common.
