S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14є39'N, 108є25'E). Primary evergreen broad-leaved wet forest with Dacrycarpus imbricatus on steep mt. slopes on sandstone & gneiss at elev. 1100-1200 m. Tree 15-20 m hg with diam. up to 35 cm. Common. Usual dominant of 1 forest stratum.
