S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14є39'N, 108є25'E). Primary evergreen broad-leaved wet forest with Dacrycarpus imbricatus on steep mt. slopes on sandstone & gneiss at elev. 1100-1200 m. Terrestrial herb on secondary wet short tall grassland along road. Flowers pink-violet. Very common weed.
