to 1310 m. Collected in closed evergreen
submontane broadleaved primary forest.

Undershrub, 1.5 m tall; all plant parts
glabrous; stipules large, 2.5 x 2 cm,
leaves oblanceolate, dark green & shiny
above, paler beneath. Not common, on
mountain slopes in closed forests.
