Alpinia sp.

S. Vietnam, Kontum Prov., Kon Plong Distr., Hieu Municipality, Mang La forest enterprise (14º39'N, 108º25'E). Primary evergreen broad-leaved
wet forest on steep mt. slopes on sandstone & gneiss at elev. 1000-1200 m. Terrestrial herb up to 3 m hg in open place. Flowers white, tops of tepals pink, lip yellow with purple stripes. Very common.
