Melastomataceae
Sonerila "purpurifolia" sp. nov.?

Gia Lai Province, K'Bang District. Secondary and remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved dry forest with Dacrydium on lava rocks (red soils) at elevation about 1000 m a.s.l., around point 14º15N 108º35E. Terrestrial herb to 10 cm tall in shady place along trail. Flowers purple. Occasional.
