Vietnam, Dak Nong Prov., Dak Glong Distr., Dak Plao Municipality, steep mountain slopes of Ta Dung mountain system at elevation 600-800 m a.s.l. around point 11º52’14’’N 107º59’34’’E. Secondary dense broad-leaved evergreen wet forest with bamboo on steep rocky W faced stream slopes composed with crystalline highly metamorphosed sandstone. Treelet 2.5-3 m tall on shady steep rocky stream slope. Not common.
