FLORA OF LAOS

Cycas petraea A. Lindstr. & K. D. Hill

Vientiane prov., Vang Vieng district, close vicinities of Vang Vien town, Phu Ngeum Mt., secondary degraded evergreen forest on steep rocky slopes and cliffs composed with karstic highly eroded marble-like limestone at elevation at 350-500 m a.s.l. Creeping epiphyte on mossy gnarled tree on mountain top.

Lithophytic unbranched treelet to 3 m tall with leaves to 1.5 long, young leaves glaucous, old ? glossy. Common on mountain top.

11 December 2015, L.Averyanov, T.Maisak, M.Nuraliev, N.Vislobokov, AL 205 (4 seedling tubers).
