Primary closed evergreen broad-leaved wet cloudy ericaceous forest on very steep mountain slopes and on tops of ridge composed predominantly with shale at elev. about 2600-2700 (according to GPS navigation system 3032 m) m a.s.l. Terrestrial and lithophytic herb on vertical mossy cliffs on top of ridge. Flowers yellowish. Rare.
