S. Vietnam, Prov. Kontum. Primary evegreen mixed forest (with Pinus kesiya) at 800-900 m alt. on NW slope of Ngoc Linh mountain
system 5-10 km to N of Muong Hoong village. Herb up to 1 m high along road. Flowers yellow. Common weed of rice field.
