from near old airport at Mang Den to 3
km W towards Kon Tum; disturbed forest
along side of road, east slope.

Lianescent; to 10 m; stems sometimes
with darker coloring; lower
inflorescence scales green, upper light
green to silver-white; post-anthesis ray
floret tips become dark brown.
