Vietnam, Dak Lak Prov., Krong Bong Distr., Hoa Son Municipality, vicinities of Krong Kmar river, NE slopes of Chu Yang Sin mt system at elevation 1000-1400 m a.s.l. around point 12º27’55’’N 108º19’00’’E. Primary mixed broad-leaved and coniferous forest with Pinus latteri and P. krempfii along ridge edge. Young treelet 10 14 m (tree up to 25-30 m tall which looks were totally logged). Occasional.
