Vietnam, Dak Lak Prov., Krong Bong Distr., Hoa Son Municipality, vicinities of Krong Kmar river, NE slopes of Chu Yang Sin mt system at elevation about 800-1000 m a.s.l. Primary mixed broad-leaved and coniferous forest with Pinus krempfii, Dacrycarpus imbricatus and Dacrydium elatum along ridge edge.

Terrestrial woody fern. Common.
