N. Vietnam, prov. Cao Bang, distr. Ha Lang, municipality Dong Loan, vicinities of Ban Lung and Lung Phuc (N 22ш46' E 106ш44'), about 50 km to E from Cao Bang town. Open primary mixed mossy semideciduous and coniferous forest along tops of limestone ridge at 650-700 m alt. Terrestrial herb up to 1.5 m hg on open bluffs. Flowers yellowish. Not rare.
