Southern Vietnam, Ninh Thuan province, Thuan Bac district, Binh Tien village, near the border with Khanh Hoa province, Cam Ranh town area, Nui Chua National Park territory, around point 11.808801°N, 109.181737°E. Open grassy wetlands along sea cost at elev. 2-3 m a.s.l. Terrestrial or aquatic herb to 10 cm tall on open wet sandy places. Flowers light blue-violet.
