Bac Kan Province, Ba Be District, Ba Be National Park. Primary and old secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep rocky slopes composed by white crystalline marble-like highly eroded limestone around point 22º27’26’’N 105º36’12’E at elev. of 600-800 m a.s.l.
Terrestrial herb in shady rocky place. Locally common.

Comment:
N. Tanaka: This specimen does not match well with the typical form of P. argenteostriata in having an elongate inflorescence with looser flowers and floral tube more strongly sunken, and in distribution. Hence, it is somewhat difficult to evaluate its taxonomic status.
It may be better to wait for more samples collected from the intermediate regions in the future.
