Hanoi Capital Region, Ba Vi National Park, old humid secondary and remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep mountain slopes composed by shale at elevation of about 1000 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb on shady slope along forest trail. Flowers white, sepals with purple veins. Locally common.
