Kon Tum Province, Kon Plong District, Mang Den Town area, remnants of humid primary evergreen broad-leaved and mixed forest (with Pinus dalatensis, Dacrydium and Dacrycarpus) on very steep mountain slopes composed with granite and silicate shale at elevation of about 1200 m a.s.l. Terrestrial rosulate herb on very steep rocky wet slope in deep shady stream canyon. Flowers of typical coloration. Not common.
