The border on Kon Tum and Quang Nam Provinces along the road Da Nang – Dak Gley. Secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest on very steep slopes composed by silicate shale at elevation of 800–1100 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb to 0.4 m tall on steep rocky shady stream slope. Rare.
