Plant grown from seeds collected in Lam Dong Province, Dalat City Area, Datanla Waterfall, secondary evergreen broad-leaved and mixed humid forest (with Pinus kesiya) on granite along narrow shady river canyon at elev. 1400-1500 m a.s.l. on 29 October 2019, L. Averyanov, Nguyen Van Canh, T. Maisak, sine num. Flowered in culture 2 October 2025, L. Averyanov, T. Maisak, AL4494, Garden Number 2024.
