Hanoi Capital Region, Ba Vi National Park, old humid secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on very steep mountain slopes composed by granite and shale at elevation of 700-850 m a.s.l. Herbaceous vine to 2 m long in rather open place. Flowers bright yellow. Common.
