The border on Kon Tum and Quang Nam Provinces along the road Da Nang – Dak Gley. Secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest on very steep slopes composed by silicate shale at elevation of 800–1100 m a.s.l. Tree about 5-6 m tall on side of rocky stream among open rocks. Leaves strongly urticate. Fruits white juicy sweet edible. Not common.
