Plant flowered in cultivation in Nguyen Van Canh Garden in Buon Ma Thuot City on 22 June 2025, Nguyen Van Canh, AL4442. Originated from Dak Lak Province, Chu Yang Sing Mountains, broad-leaved evergreen forest of granite at elevation of 500–600 m a.s.l., collected in February 2025, by Nguyen Van Canh, s.n.
