Hanoi Capital Region, Ba Vi National Park, humid mossy primary and secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep mountain slopes composed by solid shale at elevation of 1100-1300 m a.s.l. along trail to peak of 1296 m. Adpressed to ground rosulate herb on mossy vertical cliff near mountain top. Flowers buds white. Not common.
