Hanoi Capital Region, Ba Vi National Park, humid mossy primary and secondary evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep mountain slopes composed by solid shale at elevation of 1100-1300 m a.s.l. along trail to peak of 1296 m. Terrestrial and lithophytic herb to 25 cm tall in open mossy place. Flowers white with light violet tint on tube lobes. Common.
