Hanoi Capital Region, Ba Vi National Park, old humid secondary and remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep mountain slopes composed by shale at elevation of about 1000 m a.s.l. Terrestrial rosulate herb on shady slope. Flowers yellow. Not rare.
