FLORA OF VIETNAM

Etlingera sp.

The border on Kon Tum and Quang Nam Provinces along the road Da Nang – Dak Gley. Secondary broad-leaved evergreen forest on very steep slopes composed by silicate shale at elevation of 800–1100 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb to 5 m tall in shady rocky place on slope along rocky stream. Flowers and floral bracts red purple. Common.
