Kon Tum Province, Kon Plong District, Hieu Municipality, remnants of primary evergreen broad-leaved forest on steep shady slopes or rocky river canyon composed with granite and silicate shale at elevation of about 1200 m a.s.l. Terrestrial herb to 2.5 m tall on shady wet slope. Flowers white, floral bracts purple. Common.
